What's actually happening
Your pipeline is real, but it's scattered across four places that don't talk to each other and one place that can't be searched, which is you. Nothing anywhere holds the whole picture.
And none of those places can do the one thing that actually matters: tell you about silence. Every tool you use is built to show you what happened. Nothing is built to show you what stopped happening.
What it costs you
This is the one that lets the other six run unnoticed. A slow response, a quote that went quiet, a deal with no next step, each of those is survivable on its own if you catch it. You don't catch it, because nothing surfaces absence.
So the pipeline always looks fine. It's full of names. Full of names is not the same as full of business, and you can't tell the difference from the inside.
What it looks like
Right now, without looking anything up: how many open quotes do you have, what's the next step on each, and which one has gone the longest without anything happening?
Almost nobody can answer the third part. That's the one worth money.
Where I'd start
One list. Every real opportunity on it. One next step and one date per line. That's the whole thing; a spreadsheet does it, and a spreadsheet is a real answer.
The part a spreadsheet won't do is tell you what's gone quiet without you going looking. That takes something that watches the clock for you.
I'm building exactly that for myself right now, because I have this problem too and I got tired of it. Ask me about it and I'll show you what I've got; it isn't a product yet, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
