Why aren’t my deals closing?

Know the Next Move.

Separate a real opportunity from a vague possibility, resolve what is stalled, and ask for the business when it is time.

The problem

Quiet does not tell you what is wrong.

A stalled deal might have weak qualification, no real need, an unclear solution, a missing stakeholder, or no urgency. It might also have an unresolved question, vague pricing, weak follow-up, or simply no agreed next step.

What’s real?
Is there a specific need, a credible buying process, meaningful timing, and a path to the people who matter?
What’s wrong?
What remains unresolved? Look at the solution, money, stakeholders, and commitments before assuming the buyer is ready.
What do I do now?
Choose a concrete next action, an owner, and a date. Requalify, advance, schedule, park, or pass deliberately.

Quote Follow-Up Today
For quotes, estimates, and proposals that have gone quiet. Identify which deserve attention and prepare a useful follow-up for the human seller.
General Sales Triage
Use a constrained set of opportunity information to answer what is real, what is wrong, and what to do now.
The Action Layer
Surface what happened last, what is unresolved, who matters, what commitment exists, and what should happen next.

These are tools in development. Follow-up remains a human decision and conversation, not an automated stream of messages.

Follow-up with a reason

Don’t check in. Be ready with the next thing.

Bring the revised estimate, the answer you promised, a useful question about the blocker, or a request for a decision. A good conversation should usually create a clearer state.

Ask for the order

Do not close before discovery is complete. Do not keep discovering after it is time to close.

When the issue is understood, the solution is clear, the right people are involved, and the important questions are resolved, make a direct ask: “Are you ready to move forward?”

A straightforward quote may get there quickly. A complex solution sale may need several commitments first. The purpose is progress toward a real decision, including a clear decision not to proceed.

Which opportunity has gone quiet?

Bring one stalled quote or deal. We can discuss what is known, what remains unresolved, and the next useful human action.
